Rated 5 out of 5 by 7thGenTexan from Best Overall Bag You Can OwnI own two of these bags. One is my everyday business-travel bag. The other is my bug-out bag. With the ABC pocket configuration, I'm able to quickly access resources for both utilities. For work/travel, I can quickly access and store valuables, like headphones, keys, pens, sunglasses, and meds without tearing through the whole pack. For my bugout, I love the elastic straps inside the two front pockets. Great for gauge, tourniquets, and gloves. Mystery Ranch doesn't advertise it, but there is an additional secret pocket behind the two front pockets. There's nothing this pack can't do. Also like that the Blitz 35 can extend upwards (a ton) compared to the fixed design of the Blitz 30.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bluebirdford from Wanted to Love this bagI'm a small woman, and the sizing chart puts me as the smallest scale. I have a hard time finding any pack to fit me. With all the ways to tweak i thought maybe I would have a chance with this one. With the pack at the smallest it sits high and pulls at my shoulders, and the brain, top pouch hits the back of my head. The second grumble is the pouches on the hip belt are to small not sure what the thoughts were on what would fit. I will be taking the hip belt off sence cinched down its still to big. Will keep the bag and continue to fiddle, maybe after using it more it'll break in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JMW1 from Comfortable even under heavy loadI bought this bag a month ago to use for range days. This pack is comfortable even when fully loaded and had enough space to accommodate the gear I need like tools and eye/ear pro, and the bag comes with smart storage options to keep equipment organized and easy to access. The zipper patterns and cinch options make this bag incredibly versatile and is built well enough that I know it will be with me for a long time. It’s comfortable to carry when fully loaded with padded straps and a waste band which is removable and added to the bags flexibility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pam 756 from Great modular design.Researched hard for a SAR bag that was more compartmentalised than the traditional hiking pack I was using. This was exactly what I was looking for. With the Blitz 35 medical, clothing, tarps, technical, admin etc. are much more segregated making it easier to access. Molle makes it easy to add on. I was unexpectedly impressed that the volume came from expanding out rather than up and down making zero contact between the back of my helmet and gear. High quality everything and well thought out. Extra weight is worth the better organisation. Excellent to hike all day long with it. Would have liked a thicker wider belt.My only question is I am 5'6" 145# and purchased the s/m frame. But it seems a little small especially when I have winter gear on. Wondering how big the next size up would fit?

Rated 5 out of 5 by David L from Best bag I own! This is by far the best bag I have ever owned! The quality of the material used and construction is top notch. The way the straps adjust for comfort during prolonged use is a huge bonus. It has the perfect amount of pockets inside and outside of the main compartment. I used both of the external bottle holders (coffee in 1 and water in the other). I highly recommend this to anyone needing a quality bag for school, travel, hiking, or short trips. I just used it for a 5 day international trip and it easily fit everything I needed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Grnjeep from Almost a great pack. Almost.Purchased this about a month ago on sale for a price I couldn't pass up. This is my fourth MR pack. The others being the Pintler, Selway, and Blackjack 80. This pack is pretty large for an EDC, and missing some features that left me scratching my head as to why, and what MR was after. Lack of L/R, or even a middle hydration port, No pass throughs on the bottle pockets for the cinch straps seems just lazy. I'm 5'8" 172lbs. with a 32" waist and the belt has barely enough room for adjustment with just a wind breaker on. I would definitely have to order the larger belt if I planned to use this in cold weather. The belt is fairly useless with the 1" webbing, as well as the belt pockets. They are pretty small and really would only fit a pack of nuts or something. Too large for an EDC, missing too many features to make it a good 3 day, or 3DAP. Dump the almost useless belt pockets, add 2" webbing and make the belt larger so this pack can actually handle it's rated weight capacity and more adjustment for warmer clothing. Add hydration ports and pass throughs for the bottle pockets. This pack would then be worth the $300 imported price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cryan77 from Great PackWas looking at a lighter version from the military packs I have ordered from Mystery Ranch in the past and a good day pack for work. This pack checks all the boxes. Easy to carry and all materials are solid and well designed. Its nice not having to change packs for flying and every day use as this fits all your needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kcwhudson from Fantastic!Great pack for what I need! I use it for a daily bag to carry my uniform/gym/change of clothes. I don’t know how well it would be for an every day carry; but for a travel bag/carry on great choice. My only complaint is that some of the straps have a Velcro tie down, while others do not. I would add Velcro “tie downs” to the compartment lid and shoulder straps; no matter what great bag and quality. I also enjoy that you can remove the waist belt when you don’t need it.
